Jazz ensemble on stage with Mr. Ruggieri HOLIDAY JAZZ CONCERT

Students from K-12 stepped up to help a recent Boardman graduate in a Holiday Service Project for our military men and women who won't be home for the holidays.  Hundreds of handmade cards and letters will be sent via the Blue Star Mothers of America Organization.

Stop the bleed training students learning packing a wound HEALTH CLASSES PRACTICE "STOP THE BLEED"

On Wednesday, November 14, all Boardman High School Health Classes  welcomed “Stop The Bleed” trainer, Amanda Lencyk. The Mercy Health Trauma Coordinator  returned to Boardman to work with 9th graders in a hands-on program proven to save lives.  Dozens of Boardman Staff members were trained in the program in September.

National Blue Ribbon Award Ceremony, formal accepting the award STADIUM ELEMENTARY ACCEPTS NATIONAL BLUE RIBBON SCHOOL AWARD

Congratulations to parents, students and staff of Stadium Drive Elementary!  The National Blue Ribbon School Award Ceremonies in Washington, D.C. November 7-8 were amazing.  Superintendent Tim Saxton, Stadium Principal Mike Zoccali and teacher Lisa Cooper accepted the award--but the entire district is celebrating this special recognition of the district.  Spartan Proud!

BSTN STUDENTS WIN STATEWIDE VIDEO CONTEST

Mr. Clones, James Valentin, Megan Frye, Matthew Wellton, SAm Holter

 

BSTN students will accept an award at the Capital Conference in Columbus on November 12, for producing the winning video in OSBA'S Stand Up For Public Schools Contest.  OSBA will feature the video on its website, as well as award BSTN $750 for the BSTN program.

Superintendent's Message

   Everyone should have an emergency plan for snow days.

It seems this year, the cold and snowy weather is a bit early.

 

Superintendent Tim Saxton wants to make sure parents aren't caught by surprise, when  dangerous weather forces school schedules to change.
