PROPOSAL NOTICE FOR MENTAL/BEHAVIORAL HEALTH SERVICES DUE BY JULY 30 Bids and proposals graphic

The Board of Education, Boardman Local School District will be accepting proposals for purchased services for qualified licensed personnel. (Such as therapists, counselors prevention staff, social workers, marriage & family therapists etc.). We will be soliciting proposals until  Friday, July 30 for the 2021-2022 school year.

Success by Six Pre-Kindergarten Program Starts July 12 success by six program students coloring

The Success By Six free program for incoming Boardman kindergarten students begins Monday July 12 and runs through Thursday, August 5. 

The readiness program is held at all three Boardman Elementary Schools from 8:30 AM until Noon, Monday through Thursday for four weeks. 

FREE BUSING PROVIDED – Pickup between 7:45 a.m. - 8:25 a. m.

Parents must register their child for kindergarten to register for the Success By Six program.  

BHS Welcomes Principal Mark Zura Principal Mark Zura

Boardman welcomes new Boardman High School Principal Mark Zura to begin the 2021-22 school year. He will replace principal Cindy Fernback, who retired June 30 after 33 years in education.  

Zura has more than 20 years of eductional experience, half of which was spent at Boardman.

Center Intermediate Welcomes Principal Michael Masucci Principal Michael Masucci

Boardman welcomes new Center Intermediate Principal Michael Masucci to begin the 2021-22 school year!  He will replace longtime principal Randy Ebie, who retired June 30, after 34 years of dedicated service at BCIS. 

Mr. Masucci comes to boardman with 27 years of experience in education, as a teacher and administrator.  

Summer Meals Available Every Wednesday at BHS lunch graphic

Boardman Schools Meal Distribution will continue every Wednesday, all summer from 11AM until Noon at BHS.

All children ages 1-18 are eligible, and they do not need to be a Boardman resident.

Each child will receive 7 breakfasts, and 7 lunches.

All are welcome regardless of income, and meals are free.

Come to Door #9. *Child does not have to be present.

Boardman Schools Announce 'SPARTAN ONLINE ACADEMY' for the 2021-22 School Year spartan online academy logo with square

On June 16, 2021, The Boardman Board of Education approved the establishment of a new district online academy for the 2021-2022 school year.  The Spartan Online Academy will be self-paced and available for students in grades K-12.
