UPDATED QUARANTINE RULES REGARDING BUSING update graphic

New update from Ohio Department of Health (ODE) regarding close contacts and quarantines on school buses.  Mandatory quarantines are not required on buses as long as mask protocols are in place: similar to classroom rules.

LEARN AT HOME WEDNESDAYS CONTINUE IN THIRD 9-WEEKS put this on your calendar

Learn at Home Wednesdays will continue during the third 9-weeks.  The dates affected for the third learning period are:

January 27

February 3, 10, 17, 24

March 3, 10, 17, 24

 

WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 20 is NOT a Learn at Home Wednesday, and all in person students are expected to report to school. 

BHS TEACHER WRITES BIOLOGY HELP BOOK Boardman Bio teacher Heather Moran holding her book

BHS Advanced Biology teacher Heather Moran has written a book titled Biology Help for the Virtual Weary Student.  It uses her lecture based stories to make some of the complicated Biology concepts easier to understand and remember.  The book is available now on Amazon.

Spartans Awarded Gold and Silver For their Artwork Student earns Gold Key for Digital Art Portfolio

Congratulations to our Boardman artists who won Gold and Silver Keys in this year's Regional Scholastic Art Competition. Their amazing work will be on display at Bliss Hall at YSU for the month of January.  Gold Key winners Alexis Chismar, Jenna Hughes and Gabbie Roller will advance to National Competition in New York City this spring.  

BHS Math Department Thanks Masons for Big Donation! math teachers holding brand new iPads

The Math department at Boardman High School is now equipped with brand new iPads, thanks to a generous donation from the Boardman Western Star Masonic Lodge #21.  

The Lodge recently donated $5,000 to Boardman Local Schools to be used for technology.  The donation helped provide a new device for every teacher in the High School Math Department.

UPDATE ON REMOTE MEALS: ORDER BY MONDAY--PICKUP WEDNESDAYS Hot lunch of egg rolls

UPDATED INSTRUCTIONS FOR REMOTE LEARNER/WEEKEND MEALS:

Meals must now be pre-ordered by Monday each week,  to be picked up on Wednesdays.

IN-PERSON LEARNERS may also order free WEEKEND MEALS- for pickup.

Pickup regardless of which building the student attends, will be every Wednesday, at Boardman High School from noon-1 PM.  Please read more for details.
