The FIRST CHRISTINE MOSCHELLA TERLESKY AWARD BHS senior Katie Stamp with Christine Mochella Terlesky Award

A new award will be presented every year, to an outstanding lady Spartan basketball player in honor of former player/teacher/coach Christina Moschella Terlesky.  The first goes to BHS senior, Katie Stamp.

Christine's former teammates from the Class of '91 created the award in her memory, that will be decided by the current coaching staff.

Congratulations to the first ever, and 2021 recipient,  Katie Stamp.

 

MAYHEM TO PERFORM IN SPARTAN STADIUM MAY 22 Project mayhem with date

Tickets are on sale now for the first ever performance of Project Mayhem's Electric Orchestra in Spartan Stadium.  This will be the first time in its 14 year history that a stage will be erected on the field for this usually sold-out event.  Attendance for the outdoor concert is capped at 2200.

Concerts at Boardman High School will be performed live, and will be socially distanced in-person events. (Limited tickets must be reserved through family members)

The Boardman HS Band Concert  is scheduled for April 29, at 7 PM in the BHS Gym

The BHS Choir Concert  is Wednesday, May 5, at  7 PM in the Performing Arts Center

The BHS Orchestra Concert is Wednesday, May 12 at 6:30 PM  in the BPAC

IMPORTANT SUMMER SCHOOL INFORMATION Summer School Graphic

Boardman is working to address the many challenges brought on by COVID-19.  Governor DeWine has asked all Ohio school districts to develop a plan to address learning loss due to the pandemic.

Boardman Local School District's Gap Closing Plan is focused on a two-phase approach that begins with Enhanced Summer School in the first phase.

  • Students will attend classes in their assigned buildings.
  • Classes will be free of charge for families.
  • Transportation will be provided for students.
  • Breakfast and lunch will be provided to students taking classes 
Glenwood Teachers Awarded Grant to Build New Disc Golf Course Disc Golf basket

A group of Glenwood Junior High teachers teamed up to win a $2,700  National Grant from the GPD Employee’s Foundation.  Together, the Glenwood group constructed a new Spartan Disc Golf Course right in time for this beautiful spring weather!

May 5, 12, 19, 26

April 7 and June 2  are in-person Wednesdays.
