Boardman Schools Announce 'SPARTAN ONLINE ACADEMY' for the 2021-22 School Year spartan online academy logo with square

On June 16, 2021, The Boardman Board of Education approved the establishment of a new district online academy for the 2021-2022 school year.  The Spartan Online Academy will be self-paced and available for students in grades K-12.

The Spartan Online Academy will NOT be taught by Boardman teachers.  Instead, all instruction and content will be provided by a licensed third party educator.  Boardman teachers, when possible, will provide office hours to help support students in the program.

Summer Meals Available Every Wednesday at BHS lunch graphic

Boardman Schools Meal Distribution will continue every Wednesday, all summer from 11AM until Noon at BHS.

All children ages 1-18 are eligible, and they do not need to be a Boardman resident.

Each child will receive 7 breakfasts, and 7 lunches.

All are welcome regardless of income, and meals are free.

Come to Door #9. *Child does not have to be present.

SUMMER SCHOOL will be offered at MCCTC building June 14- July 9, Monday through Thursday from 9AM until Noon.

Courses available for credit recovery.  You must register through Boardman High School's guidance office.

BHS 69TH ANNUAL ART SHOW MAY 13-- IN-PERSON AND VIRTUAL OPTION Art show graphic

The BHS 69th Annual Art Show is open to friends and family of the student artists for an in person show on May 13, from 6-9 PM.

All BHS students have the opportunity during the school day to explore the exhibits in the gymnasium.

Also, if you read on, you can see the work of student artists from the Class of 2020 who never had the chance to display their artwork due to COVID. Virtual movie presentations were also done from this year's art classes for those who are unable to see the exhibit in person.
