HUCK FINN INSPIRES BHS STUDENTS' CAMPING ADVENTURE Andrew Shrembeck, Graham Seditz, Julien Anders, Nick Johnson present to AP classes

Every year, Boardman High AP English Teacher Randy Nord has her classes study The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain.  Like many iconic books, it can inspire and leave its readers with a deeper meaning.  For four of Mrs. Nord’s former students, it served as the roadmap for a summer camping adventure in the midst of the pandemic: an adventure they returned to talk about recently in the form of a presentation to Mrs. Nord’s current AP English classes.

The Boardman High School Drama Guild is bursting with talent that cannot be contained, even during a pandemic.   The Socially Distant Showcase is a collection of musical songs performed by members of the BHS Drama Guild.  The Date to watch is Friday, December 18,  on BSTN TV.

BHS First Community Day Success! BHS seniors raking leaves along Glenwood Ave.

Dozens of  seniors from Boardman High School  participated in the school's first Community Day on November 19.  

The students raked leaves and tidied up neighborhoods near the High School.  It began at the Bridge of Hope Church and students worked along Glenwood Avenue and Salinas Trail.

Senior Noah Holdridge is "Commended" National Merit Scholar Noah Holdridge

Boardman senior Noah Holdridge has received recognition as a Commended Student in the National Merit Scholarship Program.  Noah is among approximately 34,000 commended students nationwide who scored in the top 3% of all students who took the 2019 PSAT/NMSQT qualifying test.
