BCIS STUDENTS SEND WARM HUGS TO KIDS AT AKRON CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL BCIS students showing animal blanket made for Akron Children's Hospital

What does a moose, a lion, a fox and a raccoon have in common?  They are all driving in cars on a brightly colored tie blanket on its way to a child at Akron Children's Hospital (Beeghly Campus).

During the holiday season, Team Maroon 5  hosted two therapy dogs into their classrooms to learn more about how these dogs can provide affection, comfort, and love to those in need.

As part of their lesson, the teachers (Mrs. Ritter, Miss DeAngelo, Mrs. Tomcsanyi, and Mrs. Shirilla) talked about giving back to the community. As part of a service-learning project, Maroon 5 students collected 175 blankets to be donated to Animal Charities.
