As you likely know, Monday is a waiver day where only teachers and staff are required to be present. Our building, like all district buildings, will be open from 8:00 a.m-until 7:00 p.m for students and or parents who need to pick up any materials or ask any last minute questions. We will have some staff covering that entire time period to answer any questions you may have.
The majority of our teachers at the high school are prepared to (and in most cases already have) reach out to your students at home via technology. It is extremely important that we continue, as best we can, to educate our kids. We obviously thank you for assisting the students at home. Some suggestions we might offer are that a specific time be set aside for students to focus on their academics and if possible the same time every day for that work to help set a new habit at home.
After our waiver day on Monday, we will continue to keep the building open, staffed by administration and office support staff. So Tuesday through Friday, from 8-2 you can speak to an administrator should you have any need.
If your child is having any trouble at all accessing his/her academic work, please call 330-758-7511 and let us know so we can get the problem solved as soon as possible.
